D’ANNUNZIO AND THE SAND OF TIME – As flowed the warm, light sand – for within the hollow of the idle hand, – the heart felt that the day was shorter. – And a sudden anxiety assailed my lane – for the approach of the damp equinox – which obfuscates the gold of the sauces plagues. To the sand of Time urns the hand – it was, hourglass my throbbing body, – the growing shadow of every vain stem – almost needle shadow in tacit dial.

A CENTURIES-OLD HISTORY – When we use Fabriano paper, it is as if we were retracing the history of our civilization. The production of this world-famous paper began in 1264, and less than thirty years later the masters of the Marche region had already invented watermarked paper. And then we jump to 1496 when in Venice Aldo Manuzio prints on Fabriano paper, and to 1502 when Raphael uses it for his sketches, and again, and again, up to fans, artists and companies of today.
